The bedding configuration is queen bed, single bed and a double bunk (5 beds in total).

A lounge sofa-bed can also be used if the group needs 6 beds. The apartment is fully equipped. Guests need only to bring personal items and food stores for self-catering. The kitchen/dining is spacious, with full cooking facilities (full-sized frig and stove) and extensive dining facilities.

Bordered by the tropical rainforest of the Cape Tribulation section of the Daintree National Park, The Lodge rests at the base of Thornton's Peak which is Queenland's third highest peak (1375m).

Its central location along Cape Tribulation Road faciltates access to all the Daintree Coast tourist facilities which showcase The Daintree National Park and The Great Barrier Reef. The accommodation is a complex of three ground-level apartments built in plantation style with interiors featuring silky oak timbers and french doors, which open onto the private verandas. Private rainforest gardens merge with the primeval rainforest, where the trees are tall and ancient, interspersed with palms and ferns and epiphytes.
